Welcome to the Women’s Ministry at RCCG Overcomers House, Gloucester. We are a vibrant, Christ-centered community dedicated to empowering women to fulfill their God-given potential while making a tangible difference in our local community.

What began in 2007 with just 12 faithful women has, by the grace of God, grown into a thriving ministry of over 180 women today. We are known for our tremendous charitable contributions, serving the Gloucestershire community, our church family, other Christian denominations, and beyond.

OUR MISSION

Through fellowship, prayer, and practical outreach, our ministry seeks to impact lives in the following ways:

Community & Care Home Outreach: We regularly visit and support local care homes, offering helping hands, bearing gifts, and sharing the comforting Word of God.
Supporting Young Mothers: We practically support new mothers by assisting with newborn care, and providing essential gifts, toiletries, and care packages.
Workshops & Seminars: We organize empowering workshops, seminars, and programs designed to uplift and encourage women both within the church and the wider community.
Growth & Discipleship: Through our quarterly (three-monthly) programs, we teach and encourage women to fulfill their divine goals, dreams, and destinies as Godly wives, mothers, sisters, and friends.
Spiritual Development & Evangelism: We equip women to live as lights in this generation, expanding the Kingdom of God through prayer, supplication, evangelism, and Christ-like character.
Fellowship & Pastoral Care: We celebrate and support one another by providing birthday gifts, as well as offering emotional and financial comfort during times of bereavement.

The work of the Women’s Ministry is entirely run and sustained through the grace of God, voluntary financial contributions, and food bank donations from our dedicated church members.
