Breaking Generational Bondage
The Power of God’s Protection and Blessing
Inoperable Weapons: The speaker emphasizes Isaiah 54:17, declaring that no weapon formed against believers, their spouses, or their children will prosper, regardless of how long it was prepared.
Deuteronomy 28 Blessings: Referencing scripture, it is stated that diligent obedience brings blessings that will overtake the believer in the city, the country, and through the fruit of their body.
The Victory of Christ: Believers are reminded that they serve a living God who is in control of their finances, careers, and marriages, and who will fight for their families.
Breaking Foundational and Generational Bondage
Defining Foundational Bondage: Generational or foundational bondages are spiritual or behavioral patterns passed down through a family lineage, often causing unexplained pain, delays in marriage or childbearing, and sudden deaths.
Addressing Psalm 11:3: The sermon highlights the scripture, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” noting that believers must address and correct whatever has polluted their lineage.
Spiritual Prison vs. Physical Prison: The speaker notes that many people and children are trapped in invisible, spiritual prisons—manifesting as addictions or a loss of purpose—which waste their destiny away.
The Spiritual Exchange and Redemption
A Spiritual Blood Transfusion: For those in Christ, a spiritual transfusion takes place. Christ flushes out ancestral blood and replaces it with His own. Even if worldly DNA shows parental traces, evil spiritual arrows and curses cannot work because of the blood of Jesus.
A New Name: Believers are given a secret, divinely ordained name that witches, wizards, and evil forces cannot manipulate.
Galatians 3:13 Redemption: Christ has entirely redeemed believers and their descendants from the curse of the law.
Prayer Sessions
Destroying Evil Weapons: Prayers were made to destroy every weapon of stubbornness, disobedience, and destruction aimed at the careers and lives of children.
Restoration of Possessions: Citing Obadiah 1:17, prayers were led to command the immediate restoration and repossession of everything stolen by the enemy.
Amending the Foundation: Drawing from Elisha’s miracle of healing the bitter waters with salt (2 Kings 2), the congregation prayed for God to go to the source of their foundations and heal all bitterness.
Breaking Chains and Covenants: Worship and prayers were used to break the chains of poverty, sickness, stagnation, and covenants with untimely death,.
Irreplaceable Positioning: A concluding declaration was made that just as a driver’s seat in a vehicle is reserved, a believer’s place of blessing and position in their family will never be replaced.
The sermon concludes with an assurance of long life and a declaration of stepping into a brand-new season of freedom and blessing.
