Divine Partnership

Defining Divine Partnership
The Divine Element: “Divine” refers to something from above and belonging to God. The God in this partnership is the Supreme Creator who owns the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1), possesses all might (Psalm 91:1), and holds all the world’s wealth, silver, and gold (Haggai 2:8, Psalm 24:1),.
The Partnership Element: Partnership involves two or more entities pooling resources to maximize productivity, effectiveness, and rewards.
Multiplied Reward: Ecclesiastes 4:9 notes that “two are better than one,” and Deuteronomy 32:30 highlights that while one chases a thousand, two can put ten thousand to flight, proving that partnership multiplies human effectiveness tenfold.

The Dynamics of the Contract
Bringing Everything In: True partnership requires bringing in both assets and liabilities. When Jesus invites believers into partnership in Matthew 11:28–30, He promises rest but specifies a light “yoke” of responsibility.
Weaknesses Swallowed Up: Believers do not need to hide their limitations. In 2 Corinthians 12:10, Paul states, “When I am weak, then I am strong,” meaning human flaws are covered by God’s strength. Moses brought his stammering to God, and a desperate father brought his unbelief to Jesus; God accommodated both.
Trust and Absolute Obedience: In this agreement, God is the Senior Partner and the human is the Junior Partner. God’s role is to issue instructions, and the human role is prompt, absolute obedience without over-analyzing the logic (Proverbs 3:5–7),. Delayed obedience is simply disguised disobedience.

What Each Partner Contributes
God’s Contributions: God brings unlimited wisdom (Daniel 2:21), infinite knowledge of the future (Acts 15:18), unending physical strength, financial wealth, long life, peace, and joy–[16:48].
The Human Role (“The Doings”): Based on Philippians 4:13 (“I can do all things through Christ”), humans are responsible for the action while God guarantees the result. There is no room for laziness. Humans must use their voices to witness and cast out demons, their hands to lay on the sick, and their feet to spread the gospel.

Core Pillars of the Partnership
100% Reliance on the Holy Spirit: Because God is spirit (John 4:24), the relationship cannot operate through mere physical might (Zechariah 4:6),. The Holy Spirit gives believers a new heart to obey complex divine instructions (Ezekiel 36), equips ministers for ease of ministry, and enables spouses to submit and love unconditionally (Ephesians 5:18).
A Matter of Choice: God never forces anyone into this relationship. Scriptures like Luke 14:26 use the conditional “If,” and Revelation 3:20 depicts Jesus politely knocking at the door,. Like Joshua (Joshua 24:15), individuals must intentionally choose whom they will serve.

Altar Call: Destiny Transformed
Altering Curses into Blessings: Entering a partnership with God rewrites a person’s future. Jacob placed a deathbed prophetic curse on his son Levi due to his violent temper, declaring he would be scattered (Genesis 49:5–7),.
The Turning Point: Years later in Exodus 32, when Moses shouted, “Who is on the Lord’s side?” the tribe of Levi uniquely stepped forward,. Because they chose God’s side, God overrode the generational curse, declaring Levi His special firstborn and assigning them exclusively to the priesthood with tithes as an inheritance,.
Prayer of Surrender: The congregation was led into a prayer of total surrender, casting away sins, inviting Jesus into their hearts, and demanding a divine transformation of any negative lines written into their destinies,.
